Detached House with Business Premises

The subject of the bachelor’s thesis is a detached house design with business premises. It is a new building of an isolated house with a flat roof construction in the town Dobříš, in the Bratří Čapků Street. The designed detached house is for 4 persons; it has two aboveground floors and a garage with parking for one car on the ground floor. The house is divided in two operational units; the detached house and the business premises. The business premises will serve as a financial advisors’ office. Ferroconcrete pillars form the vertical supporting construction; ferroconcrete ceiling plates and ferroconcrete beams create the horizontal supporting construction. Beam filling is from aerated concrete blocks Ytong. The sheathing of the ventilated façade is from Alucobond desks.

In the practical part I propose options, how the concept of education in the framework of the chamber's financial advisors should be applied.

The Methodology of Insurance Intermediary in a Life Insurance

The influence of globalization is strengthening in all markets including the insurance market. In the past few years, new trends are bringing out various changes. People are becoming aware of the risks associated by not being covered by insurance and the exposure of financial loss that they could face. Due to this awareness, there are more questions that need to be raised by the insurer. Are the clients being provided enough coverage? What types of criteria should be set? All these questions are being asked by the insurance provider in order to alleviate any problems/loss and identify all the risks up front in order to prepare for these possible scenarios. Most people in the Czech Republic are becoming more aware of the bad current situation of the social system. Therefore, more people are coming to private financial insurance consultants. Life insurance have experienced many changes the past 10 years in which it is now able to offer the same complex coverage as in rich western countries. Clients are now looking for variety and flexibility. The question is how to set up these products correctly? I have been involved in professional insurance for the past several years and have developed methodical guidelines using both my knowledge and experience aimed at helping these clients be covered for these unforeseen circumstances and protect their finances.

The first part focuses on the theoretical knowledge from this area. I specify the main terms, describe current situation and mention troubled areas. In practical part I realize quantitative method of research in the form of mystery shopping. I realize analysis of provided services based on realized meetings of client and financial consultant and evaluate the results.

Bachelor thesis is focused on functional structure financial advisors in Czech Republic. The main part of the thesis is comparison of fee-based and commission-based financial advisors and suggestive optimization of a trade process for companies working with financial advisors. By using PEST analysis and relevant parts of Porter’s five forces analysis was evaluated current situation on financial markets for comparison of financial advisors. Intermediate results were based on SWOT analysis principles.

The bachelor thesis engages in analysis of results of survey done on different groups of people divided by their achieved level of education. In this survey participants were asked to choose between financial products. The analysis displays financial literacy of the groups. Results of the analysis are compared with results of discussion with financial advisor. Then the thesis recommends the best groups of people to work in financial sector based on their education.

Consumers' behaviour and experience in the market of financial services

The aim of my thesis is to find out the extent of usage and experience with financial consultancy services and to propose possible improvements in the offer of these services. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical one. The first part is focused primarily on the definition of basic terms in connection with consumer behaviour, including factors which influence consumer decision. The practical part deals with questionnaire research and analysis of found information. On the basis of the information collected, recommendations for financial consultancy providers will be proposed.
